About me

Composer of classical, film, theater and radio music, conductor. Laureate of over twenty awards at international and national composers  competitions. His compositions have been recorded on 19 CDs and are performed in major Polish concert halls and in most European countries as well as in the USA, China, Japan, Singapore and Vietnam.

He scored several dozen theater, film, TV and radio productions.
He collaborated, among others, with WFDiF, Netflix, Bagatela Studio, TVP Television Theater, TVP Kultura, Granator Studio.
Plays with music by Ignacy Zalewski are staged in Dramatic Theater, Jewish Theater, Collegium Nobilium Theater in Warsaw, Solski Theater in Tarnów, the Municipal Theater in Gliwice, Nowy Teatr in Słupsk. The composer constantly collaborates with the Polish Radio Theater.

Ignacy Zalewski is a graduate of composition (under the supervision of professor Marcin Błażewicz) at the Chopin University of Music (2009-2014), where he has been teaching since 2014. In the 2020-2024 term, he is the Dean of the Faculty of Composition
and Music Theory of his home university.
